My name is Reed Godfrey and I started Alpha Outdoor Solutions, The Hog Trap Warehouse 8 years ago. My family had a 200 acre ranch in Junction, Texas with a healthy wildlife herd consisting of Axis and hill country whitetail that we had grown proud of. Quickly we realized the detrimental effect that hogs had on the habitat and wildlife on the ranch. We tried everything at our disposal to get our hog population in control and then we came across the suspended drop trap design. 3 months after purchasing a suspended drop trap and 152 hogs later, the ranch was hog free with a new piece of hog catching equipment.

At the time I was a 17 year old pressure washing business owner with a knack and passion for the outdoors. I decided to share my knowledge and experience to help landowners that were in the same predicament we were. We quickly became a dealer to sell the trap as well as grow our commercial trap fleet at the same time. That then led to bringing the business home to Spring, Texas and catching at many different golf courses, including a few of the most renowned Houston courses at the time.

Since then we have also sold many traps, cameras and shared professional advice to aide landowners in their own fight with hog population control. As we grew we kept our main focus on customer service and customer success. Now, 8 years later The Hog Trap Warehouse sells multiple products that we personally believe in and have years of field experience with.
